Not on the consistency like half of Tasmania or coastal Victoria, or even coastal QLD in the trades.

However, being located on the top of the range Toowoomba would be breezy compared to valleys. Very often in late afternoon there would be an interplay between the sea breeze and inland winds.

Thunderstorms marching up and in from Darling Downs may also pack strong gusts.

I am not an expert in QLD micro climate, so half guessing.
