My dream is simple. Leave every continent as is but move Antarctica 20 degrees north towards Australia. The northern extent of Antarctica would reach to about 45 degrees. This would have little impact on our summers with prevailing winds from the east however our winters would be more like Japan's in winter. The sharp contrast in temperatures between the Antarctic landmass and the waters off our southern coast would lead to a very strong jetstream with continuous cyclogenesis. The passing lows would frequently send bursts of very cold polar air over southern Australia which would gain moisture over the slim Southern Ocean (without significant warming) and dump copious amounts of snow over southern Australia. Melbourne's climate in winter would be similar to Niigato at a similar latitude - more than 2 metres of snow annually. I could snowboard every winter weekend on the Blue Mts and still enjoy summers on the beach! How can we drag Antarctica further north?

Personal solution: a 1 degree delay. When it comes to moving continents 135 degrees west, I'd be moving parts of them by 134 degrees instead when it comes to longitudes less than 135 degrees west, and 159 degrees instead when it comes to longitudes less than 160 degrees west when it comes to moving continents 160 degrees east. (This is all because there's 0 degrees west and 0 degrees east.

Turns out I have to do the one-degree delay too when it comes to moving latitudes.

Said delay would apply to the places in the Southern Hemisphere that are in Asia, South America, Africa, and Oceania.
