Bathurst now up to 10.6C. Must be warmer air being wrapped around. Yeah its raining at Perisher @ 3 degrees So yup. Thredbo TS now also up to 3C so snow level is above 2000m now. Yeah the 850 temps were too way warm this afternoon for snow 4 to 6 degrees at 1480 m asl as the air pressure went up... was a weak cold pool with a tonne of moisture.

NAEFS has a cool signal for Australia's "Eastern bulge" for the week after next. That is unusual these days, it's normally warm. Most of Australia is a unshaded, which I think means mixed ('average' being purple). In warmer months, that pattern means "Easterly" patterns dominate. I'm not sure what it means now. GFS shows a fairly benign pattern in its second week. NAEFS

As cold in Camden this morning as Bathurst. Almost as cold in many other western Sydney suburbs.

It was actually really mild all night. In fact the temp warmed late, up to a bit over 11 degrees around 10pm. Then it didn't cool much all night. A strange situation A stunning sunny day out here today. Yeah its mild enough here as well. It was a really really weak cold pool. Just happened to be perfect for the ALPs for a couple of hours.

Same here too, 14.5c was my minimum at 10.30pm but by midnight the temp had risen to 17.5 where it stayed that temp pretty well for the rest of the night.
For a day that's currently under 20c and overcast it doesn't feel that cold at all. Now bring on the sunshine!!

Also the same here, 17.9 as a max yesterday but then it warmed up to 20.2C by 9am so we didn't even get a sub 20 day.
Obs Hill actually did retain its maximum of 17.9

Yesterday is the first time in many months I felt cold. Had the day off and packed the esky lid and wetsuit in car and headed to beach. Almost relieved to see it flat.
Not flat this morning however, fresh large swell running parallel to coast.

North or NE facing beaches would go alright today, eg Bellambi. The swell can still be big there on southerly days.
