Gday All,

Managed to grab a couple of snaps whilst away on a family holiday to Corindi Beach recently. Got to give the Sigma 70-200mm a real workout, and I'm pretty happy with its performance.

We have some baby Rainbow Lorikeets in the area and they're happily hanging around our yard eating whatever comes there way. They're noisy but very beautiful!

here they are in our front tree

thanks for the pics ppl! Didn't know we had a bird thread, I'll post some pics up from honeymoon in the daintree during mid jan this year. We went on a tour, esp. for the wife, she's the bird lover and I have grown a great appreciation for them since knowing her and to make room with her peach-faced lovebird, lol.

Some wildlife I found on a trip to the Hugh and Finke rivers south of Alice Springs last Thursday.

Ducks on the Hugh River.

A bush Budgie blending into the foliage of a River Red Gum on the Banks of the Finke River.

Love those Corellas, geez they can be noisy in this neck of the woods though but they look great in pics!

I've been lurking around Lake Illawarra late this afternoon with my Fiance` and managed to snap some more avian shots grin
