It is drizzling here. Lovely. First pot for the year of pea and ham soup on the stove.

It always starts raining for me when I am heading in or out of town. Then it rains nearly all the way home for me to arrive home to nothing.

Some good falls about, especially in an inland strip heading south.

We have had 26mm so far. Better then a kick in the ovaries.

A mere 3 mm in my gauge. One of those weird days when Rocky was cooler than the coast.

Nice to have some more average nights. Getting to about 16deg now.

Came home to no power this arv, it appears that waters been getting into the power switchboard box over time... had tripped rcd and caused the pole fuse to blow... lucky for electrician after hrs call out and the great linesmen from ergon!

Looking at the OzForecast page and for some reason it has Yeppoon on 99 and Rocky on 55 mm for next Friday... any idea why?

Haha all good, even though the power had been out all day, the cold day meant the fridge was still cold, freezers still frozen.

A lovely 27mm from this event. A cutoff low and trough are what is forecast to bring rain and storms late next week. Exact positioning of that cut off low will determine how much rain we get.

Bom seems to be spruiking this event now, and the bully stating up to 200mm for Capricornia. Looks like starting Thursday and into Friday next week.
