Two people were incinerated in a car crash near Maryborough yesterday on their way home from easter break after some moron in a hurry tailgated and clipped the car in front. No sharks were involved so the news stations (in QLD) pushed it to second place behind the shark story where a woman imitated a seal in a known shark risk area and was attacked by a Great White doing what sharks do. Go figure.

yes I can see your point, if they had celebrated the death and resurrection at home they would have had a good chance to celebrate the birth at the end of the year

Clearly we need a cull. Let's cull all morons asap. Sadly car fatalities happen daily , so we are hardened to it. The horror of a fatal shark attack we aren't hardened to yet. Give it time.......

Won't happen anytime soon Big T. Too many sooky lala's that think they are not responsible for their own actions. The same sooks think being eaten by a shark is somehow worse than burning whilst trapped in a car. Of course they have the option of not surfing .

It is their inability to overcome their fear that is the underlying issue. Now we have a moronic federal environment minister and alleged pm jumping on the cull bandwagon despite all the evidence showing that culls don't work.

Morons alright.

Brilliant bit of footage, I'll see if I can find a link!!

I think it may have been a case of the shark swimming blissfully and aware of the surfers but,as is the case in 99.9% of the time, was not interested in them

And another person dies yesterday at Reunion Island by shark attack. He was a shark spotter, dedicated to saving the sharks. So was his good mate, who also died a couple of months ago by shark attack. At least they were the types to still get into the water.

Just thought I would put this out there.

The 2 young people killed in the fiery crash were close to my heart.

I had known the young fella since the day he was born. His sister since she was 8. He and my daughter were the best of friends their entire lives.

They were totally blameless in the accident.

I probably won't be back to this part of the forum since it their deaths have broken my heart and seeing people using their deaths in such a frivolous manner isn't good for my soul.

Sorry to hear of the senseless loss of two young people who were close to you and your family BB.

No words can overcome the despair felt at times like this.

yes EddyG, I saw the tongue in cheek, I commented only for those who in the hysterical moments think sharks purposely wait off shore for meals on boards to be lulled into a false sense of security.
