Already 2.5c warmer than this time yesterday. Hopefully the breeze kicks in earlier otherwise it will be pretty hot.

Hot hot hot today. For october anyway. Glass out conditions on the way out to the island and no breeze untill the NE picked up

Yep a couple of warmer days and seemingly temperate nights have led us to a pretty much bang on average month temp wise. Rainfall may have ended up a pinch above though laugh

Feels more like late December/January weather. Hot and humid. Cloud starting to build all around too.

Yeah that cell looks pretty awesome over Atherton. A local farming lady who grows tomatoes, born and bred, was saying yesterday she thinks there will be a bit of hail around the tablelands this season. 24 hours later hail. I might start asking her for a weekly forecast.

Well my weather forecaster (wife) said on Sunday that it will rain on Wednesday as her ankle was aching, normally she is normally pretty well spot on, even if it is only a light shower.

Wednesday's forecast for the NTC:

Partly cloudy. Aching ankles means a medium (60%) chance of showers. The chance of thunderstorms, most likely inland and possibly severe, particularly about the ranges if the aches spread throughout the rest of the leg. Light winds becoming east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 17 and 22 with daytime temperatures reaching 29 to 34.
