It just keeps raining here, more heavy showers overnight, yard is so soggy, unable to do any mowing. I went out for a ride Weds morning and got drenched, I didn't bother going out this morning, cant wait for the dry season to hit us.

Looking forward to seeing what this rain event can deliver! They're talking up some good totals over a large region of NQ.

70mm so far and looks like a lot more to come. I have been out side all morning trying to catch up on chores and its still only 15c soaked wet and cold. Hot shower was absolute heaven.! How is everyone else going? Bloody quite on this page considering the weather.

That's good rain Hagrid.
I'm stuck on the Peak Downs Highway, just passed the Glenden turnoff. Truck rollover I think? Hope they're OK. Have seen 3 ambulances and 3 fire trucks attend. Have been here since about 12.40pm. In weather news, 19mm at moranbah overnite.
Enjoy the rain!!!

90 mm now. It will be soggy at Wests tomorrow. Gumboots may be the choice of Apparel.

The good news is, the POAMA monthly mean Nino 34 forecast has been trending closer towards La Niņa for the past four runs (since July), with today's release expecting we'll be right on the threshold, if not in La Niņa, for most of the wet/cyclone season.

Ms Vorticity is back in Mackay and living in Erakala. Unfortunately my weather station has broken after Debbie's blow down the Sunny Coast. Maybe l can put in an early wish list to Santa 😜. I have really missed this thread over the last 5 years so it's good to be back. Looking forward to the wet season!

Talk about dry - we must be almost drought declared! Ripening up for a big season of dust storms and bush fires.

Talk about are you serious? No where in the central coast and Whitsundays (unless well inland) would even be close to drought declaration.

Incredible the rain recorded down south but nothing in the Whitsundays except for a couple of drops, and that's not enough to break our drought! The cracks are opening right up now.

P.s. my avatar has disappeared unfortunately
