They do exaggerate on that Higgins page. They don't have it alone though, since some do exaggerate here as well. Even into the looney zone

Well, the event has virtually disappeared from Access, or possibly shifted way to the East towards NZ. It's still in EC and GFS for now. In the 7 day Sydney forecast is makes barely a ripple, with temperatures close to average and 1 - 14mm of rain.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Thought it was a dig at the forum posters in general.

Yeah Steve, not surprising. When things look too good to be true they often are.

First, wouldn't take AXS's word for it.
Wait and see tomorrow's runs.

EC still hanging onto something. Which is odd for EC. Its usually the first off the reservation

As usual - it will do what it will do smile Whether we like it or not. smile

EC hanging on to that little cold pool around the CT's.

We might just have to put up with frosty mornings and sunny days a little longer smile

Early days , but my money is on hype from Higgins based on previous non events.
Models have backed off significantly bar a little low over the Central Tablelands , still someway to go before the day but not expecting much.

Winter unfolding as predicted. Massive highs leading to frosty nights but nothing for fronts and associated winds and moisture. Dreary as @@ck

I'd have no problem with that!! grin As long as it's sunny I don't care how cold it is. 5 degrees, calm and sunny beats 20 degrees and cloudy for me. smile
