That makes sense Donzah. Yeah atm I'm hooked to driving and photography..... and skiing when I can get there! smile

You must've went to a school pretty close to the beach!! Was a solid 15 mins drive from school for me so I only went after school.

Hahaha I no wonder you remember it so well ozthunder, would've been a shock as a little 14 year old.

Btw you're probably right. As I said I haven't been bodyboarding there for ages and I go there so irregularly now that I probably pick the crap days to sus out lol, with all the southerlies lately. Fantastic beach in the summer though, NEer is almost an offshore wind as you would know.

Eddy- I reckon they could've been the 9am obs perhaps? I think those two do report at 9am and 3pm.

Not that I wouldn't mind the rain of course. Moves the low offshore as well to give Central coast/Sydney a drenching, just what you coasties would look forward to smile

No "cold change" until the 4th or so.

Axs not in same mood as GFS.

Plenty of variation in possibilities out there smile

might just wait n see. smile

lol.

Geez, It's really benign weather atm. June has been really boring.
I'm really hoping that July might throw up a big surprise.

Yeah it's basically been two months of May weather. Very boring.

I too hope July delivers some really solid cold fronts with low level snow. I want an excuse to go for a drive to the CT's. smile

You got a point, but that stuff bores me!! My type of weather in winter would be a run of 20's and then some seriously cold weather.

9.5C before 8pm, definitely looking at some colder nights now.

Indeed.

And that is coming without a recent injection of decently cold air.
All we've had is warm dank southerly's

Yes D - Axs and GFS fairly similar too. AXS pushes the 5400 to Qld border. GFS a little less but similar.

Might be able to get a bit hopeful of this one.

That GFS rain event disappeared as quickly as it appeared smile

Clear some humidity and ease the fogs for here perhaps as well.

A rather chilly morning in Sydney so far with mid level cloud about (NW Cloud Band: "I'm ba-ack"). It's now 14 at OH, 13-14 across most of Sydney and a bit warmer by the sea. The BOM are still going with a max of 19.

The models seem to have reduced the strength of the change due early next week, but now agree on a stronger one towards the end of next week. But that has been the pattern for a while - a strong change in 7-10 days time.

It does look like a fairly benign pattern continues for the time being, although a little cooler than it's been.

Completely windless today and covered in very interesting looking mid level cloud.

Much the same here, actually it looks like it could even precip. Overnight low was 6.7c and the temp managed to reach 18.1c before this cloud arrived.
