The coldest frosty morning here for several years here this morning I reckon.

Drove down and back to Warragul today, sunny all the while, but the road temps indicated 5-8C on way down, and only 10C on the way back late arvo.

Hoping the NW'ly arrives tonight to give us a week off from frosts.

Colder temps here last night than the previous good frost Sat night, therm. under verandah 1.5C colder, got down to 0C, with local ABC radio at Sale reporting the coldest Sale night ever at -6.3C.

Beaut day though, sunny and calm.

SAMBOZ your question for June is my record is ZERO no rain with lots sunnier days and horrible cold nights to frost mornings.

Now is no wind and hope Low pressure move overnight bring some windy and cloudy to protected no frosty morning.

Overnight low of 3.6C, recorded around dinnertime last night. Reached a top of 16.5C here in Belgrave around lunchtime today.

Interesting 24 hour period! Dead calm and nippy at first last night, then it started getting warmer, and by midnight it was 6C and we had gusty northerly winds!

It started out at about 13C, breezy and mostly sunny when I left home for work at about 10am; around half an hour later in Boronia it turned dark and cloudy. Looked unstable and kinda stormy while passing through Ringwood.

It got darker and gloomier while at Box Hill, with the Melbourne radar showing showers and an impressive line of thunderstorms approaching from the northwest. The weather closed in at about 1:30pm, with about two hours of gusty winds and heavy rain! smile

By 3:30pm, the stormy weather cleared off to the southeast, leaving mostly sunny skies. A chilly, breezy, partly cloudy night followed as I headed home after 8pm.

Currently around 10C. Collected 5.2mm of rain here at home today (my family got treated to a beautiful rainbow today); more showers developing atm! smile

The barometric pressure dropped from 1023hPa to 1004hPa over the past 24 hours btw.

1.5mm, some cloud this AM but sunny on the local area. The lack of wind is very nice, could get used to this.

PATCHY snow, not much on Mt Wellington, very little change
in the last couple of days.

5mm from showers to mid morning here, cloudy but calm.

Snow patches on Mt. Wellington washed away by this rain.

6.5mm for July, looking better so far this month!!

Which had kicked us off nicely as well😀

Turning a bit colder now so hopefully
Baw Baw can get some fresh snow
Instead of rain!

Reached a top of 16.4C here in Belgrave today. A mix of sunshine alternating with cloudy periods with showers; some quite beefy convection about the place today but no thunderstorms unfortunately.

I spotted a nice rainbow around mid-afternoon underneath a shower between Moorabbin and Dandenong while at work in Box Hill. Doesn't seem that my home received any measurable rainfall today but ah well. smile

Currently around 8C.

Amendment to yesterday's high: it was 15.8C, not 15.3C. My bad sorry. poke

Reached a cool, breezy, mostly sunny 15.8C here in Belgrave today. Not bad! smile

Pity I was stuck indoors at work in Box Hill today and forced to face a rather cold wind after I headed for home around 7pm. But nice to see some showers rolling into Melbourne from the northwest on radar! smile

Hoping for a rainy night. Currently around 9C.

Bit warmer y'day, got down to T shirt working o/s for quite a bit of the day after 10am, clear skies and calm.

Close to frost today here, Sale -3.1C, some cloud about, our local BOM f/cast is 50% chance of 0.2mm to 2mm. Nothing of interest on the radar this stage.

Can't see much rain on ACCESS, could get some next Monday with some luck.
