Pre-Aussie Open tournaments have just started, Brisbane and Perth.
Brisbane has a very strong field this year.
Federer has opted to go the Hopman Cup, a good coup for them.
Good start to the year for Nick Kyrgios at the Hopman Cup coming back from his suspension, with a win over Spanish veteran Feliciano Lopez.
Overall the Aussies lost, Daria Gavrilova a little bit rusty in singles, and they lost the mixed doubles.

Bernard Tomic also takes on another Spanish veteran in David Ferrer, in Brisbane today.
Lleyton Hewitt has some words of advice for Bernie at his home state tournament:

Unfortunately Tomic struggled today. So much, so ferrer asked him at the end if he was sick.

Big win for Nick Kyrgios over Novak Djokovic, in Acapulco, Mexico:

Tomic retired earlier in the tournament, citing unbearable heat:

Nick Kyrgios has stunned Novak Djokovic again, this time on a much bigger state at Indian Wells (Masters):

Nick, unlike Bernard Tomic, is showing us all that he is the real deal now.

Wimbledon final tonight, should be a good one.
Great result in the women's with Garbine Muguruza getting her 1st Wimby and 2nd Slam.

For those of us with long term tennis memories, Becker wrecker, Peter Doohan has just passed away.
