Slightly heavier rain area moving into the Sydney basin at the back end of the rain band.

Raining reasonably heavily here. There are some decent totals building up, 10-12mm in Sydney's West, 5-10 in the East. The rain in clearing from Sydney's outer West but there are heavier rain bands crossing Sydney's middle suburbs. Most of Sydney should end up with around 10-15mm.

My weather station tells me that we received about 26mm of well needed rain, that should top up the rainwater tanks nicely.
In Brisbane today mostly sunny up here don't think that they had any rain overnight here.
Crusing for the next 33 days so my internet check ins will be infrequent so behave yourselves boys and girls.

Have fun Teddy smile

Well that was a lovely fall of rain, boy how long since we've rain as nice as that.

To top it off, I know of 2 reports around Yetholme/Sunny Corner of (only very few) snowflakes. But we have not seen them much either.

Yep - it LOOKS like a proper winter day out here, heading for a max around 9 or 10, maybe a brief 11.

Airport was about 18mm of rain - don't know Ag station and may not know for several days.

Orange had about 28 or 29mm.

Best thing is that it was widespread inland. smile

Sunday night & Monday looking VERY interesting for snow lovers out in the Tablelands areas smile

Donzah - yep brilliant snowfalls coming to the Snowies over the coming days/week grin

Yep, some very handy falls right up and down the slopes and t'lands!

34mm in the guage here on the northside of town smile ; a tad more than the AP, which is often the case with these nor'westerly rainbands.

Hi Duane - better than a kick in the teeth smile

Good to hear from you smile

Still fresh here, max about 7 so far and about that now. Low cloud, occasional light drizzle here, probably a little more at elevated areas - BUT bugger all. Just about 4 degrees too warm in elevated areas smile

Looking forward to some good snow in Kemps Creek Sunday night/Monday morning.

You mean Penrith? That's what your location says!! poke

Well everyone, Warren lives in Blackheath fyi.

Anyway it's windy-ish here with quite a few little clouds drifting over from the west. But not overly cold tbh.

Always nice to hear of planes dumping tonnes of fuel off the coast of Wollongong which could supposedly cause environmental issues.
