Thanks for the birthday wishes Nick. In fact I was born on Fathers Day. Have just returned from a couple of months of warmer weather on the east coast (northern NSW). Ready to do a U turn right about now. Back to dragon boating in the next week or so. Cheers.

Fair old dump of rain at Mount Crawford complete with a 76km gust.

Had 10.5mm so far, excluding tonights showers.

Damn, 29mm at Little Para Res from that train of heavy cells.

People have video of lightning at the time. Last time this happened it was two super hornets doing night time training, I guess they could have been again.

in the end, we prob should've had a thread for this last system.
Been some impressive falls and coldies amongst it.
Here at Valley View I've received 48mm from the last 4 days.

So unlucky to not get some snow out of it, just slightly poor timing.

Temps were almost cold enough near the surface, we just didn't have the upper support. Like pretty much every cold system this year the upper cold pool completely missed us with the 500mb temps like 10+ degrees colder over the eastern states and we've had a strong inversion above 2-3km...a very unlucky season really.

The 97mm at Woodhouse for the week seems to be the highest total I can see. Pretty good week if you live south of about Jamestown..as has been the story this whole season the rainfall was very poor in the upper north and northwards. At least it looks like E.P. got a widespread drop this time.

27.5mm here for September.

lol Galaxyman. We're a whopping 6 days into 'spring', the heat will be here soon enough.

Ended up with 33.5mm in Clare for the event/s. Pretty damn happy with that. The majority of yesterday was on and off showers, our first Spencer Gulf stream of the year.

Bring back July and August. This Septictember is so far nothing but a polar subarctic perma-hurricane windy arctic polar craphole stratocrapulus crap attack. I swear to my goddamned ass there has been more Melbourne/Mt Gambier/ crap southern Vic/ Tasmanian stratocrapulus this pus heap month than in the entire year from January to July inclusive.

Looks like this Septictember is trying its hardest to beat last year's hellhole abomination. Will be looking forward to the BOM's take on this slap in the face against their insidious global warming mantra. 10 bucks says it will be yet another hottest year on record mad mad mad mad mad
