All the best, have a fabulous time.

Chillagoe got 1mm of very light rain about 1pm this afternoon. The kind that makes you damp, but doesn't wet the deck, that settles the dust, and doesn't turn it into mud.

Pretty warm, sort of.

So I guess you'll be enjoying all the autumn colours this time HF.

Congrats DU! I have friends that eloped and got married in Hawaii. Sounds like an awesome honeymoon planned as well.

Also found 0.8mm in the guage. Off to accountant shortly frown then better fillet these trout. smile

Yeah unreal to see clear calm morning, topping 30c, then convection in the afternoon!

Yep Weary, only early August, feels like my favourite month September, thank goodness for that.
Made it to 30 out here too, but I think it's been around that for quite a few days now.
Some very big puffy clouds around.

Satellite has dropped out, but it's stayed connected in comparatively bad weather, and it's mostly sunny today.

A lot earlier than normal to start watching all the rain missing me. Only 10km from the house to the centre of that red blob. frown

EDIT: Would not be surprised to hear a rumble from it soon if it keeps building. Pretty big cell for this time of year

Same here, so I can surely relate to that.
Lovely big build-up clouds, not even showing on the radar.

Looks like that satellite outage is Australia wide, a fault in a data centre.... Nothing to do with the clouds.

DU, HF sounds great. Enjoy....

My tip If the October storms roll in this year along the coast a good wet season is on!

Great night tonight with the moon, the cameras are showing some great shots

Hopefully it bodes well for this storm season HF. Have an awesome trip too mate.

Fingers crossed for an early start to the wet. Beginning of November would be good as I have 4 does due to drop in the second week of November. Would be great to have some pick around when they start lactating.

1.4mm from a brief, but reasonably heavy shower this morning.

Quite a few showers around this morning which would indicate a far better chance than the 20% given by the bureau at 5am.. Possible the computer didn't look out the window?

Oh dear, back to crappy trade winds and overcast conditions..at least the influence of the highs seem to be lessening at last..

HF it sounds like a ripper of a road trip....watch out for those Moose's though..I hear they can make a bit of a mess of your vehicle..

A bit like backpackers in Australia really..I still cant believe our citizens have to go through such rigorous training when learning to drive but we just hand out a licence to any tourist coming here regardless of experience and no knowledge of our driving conditions..
