Sorry dont know how to embed from flikr app. Seems impossible or impossiy difficult. Any decent apps about with easy embedding?

It's quite easy once you know how to do it.

Nice pic and I like your name too grin

You just go share (the arrow that curves and points to the right), then BBCode, then you can adjust the size.

Yeah that is through the webpage. You are right, there is no option to share BB code on the app, you can only share the link which is a bit annoying.

I cant help you there Weary..but the reports of rainfall and flooding are pretty amazing...I see it reported as a "once in 500 year flood"...

Purely due to the location. They are all tropical cyclones. They have been given different names in different parts of the world but are the same thing "essentially".

from Chinese tai fung great wind, from tai great + fung wind; influenced by Greek tuphōn whirlwind]
typhonic adj (typhonic wind)

"Cyclone" is applied to extra-tropical systems also (cold core systems), any airmass that rotates around a low pressure centre.

Mesocyclones are measured with the mesoscale , i.e Tornadoes and dust devils as opposed to the synoptic scale for larger cyclones.

Some footage coming out of Texas re-flooding.

Such narrow parameters there 28..
Cold @ 28 yet Hot @ 32.. wink grin

My current moan is that the days are perfect but nights and mornings are just too damn cold..after a great winter now we have to experience below average minimums in what should be spring..15c or below at nights is just not my thing this time of year....!

You're right. Sounds weird doesn't it.
At 32 I wasn't even perspiring, but the air was so close it was uncomfortable. Hard to describe. Air pressure or something maybe, no idea.

Currently 28, lol, will have to go put extra clothes on, or get under the doona.

Not too bad out here. Some big gusts but a lot of calm periods. The windiest period for Mareeba is about to start. September and October are generally pretty constant with gusty 30km/hr winds.

Finished the month with 1 rain day for 1.8mm

Average max was 27.0c
Average Low 12.1c

Highest max 31.9c
Lowest low 8.3c
