There is nothing wrong with my comment. You seem to not be able to tell me why the situation I described can not happen under your interpretation of the law..

Remember Barnaby has never applied in any way for NZ citizenship. It is apparently NZ law that is forcing it upon him.

Different to the case of the Greens senators, as they were given citizenship by being born overseas.

The citizenship stuff is getting ridiculous, there should only be one criteria, born in Australia. A bit like the USA.

The whole thing is now a circus of trivial point scoring by both sides that is detracting from far more important issues.

Being a bigot he will not even try to understand your point RC, never changes from highly negative comments.

Has no answers as demonstrated when invited to come up with some points to improve our country.

Personally, AUS to me is the very best lifestyle available in the very best country of freedoms bar none...... grin

Here is a point of view from a commentator, Joe HILLDEBRAND e.g.-

"Surely the time has come for the better minds of both parties to cut the bullshit, stop manipulating the basest instincts on both sides of the spectrum, and offer a unified position on the most vital issues facing the nation. Saving schoolkids from unemployment and the disabled from poverty would be a pretty obvious place to start.
It is time for a new third way to fill the void abandoned by the Labor Party and to which moderate Liberals are naturally aligned. I suggest calling it the Eureka Movement, in honour of the energy and fire that fuelled our first great push for liberty."

More at this site, found this via a Google search AND no membership/log in was involved -

ps...never heard of HILLDEBRAND before, some of the comments seem very relevant.

More HILDEBRAND -

"Indeed they are so incredibly alike that Shorten has been forced to perform the world’s most unconvincing impersonation of Jeremy Corbyn and Turnbull the world’s most celebrated impersonation of Donald Trump just so they can find something to disagree on." grin

Bill Shorten could face accusations similar to former Labor MP Craig Thomson if it was found he gave $100,000 of Australian Workers Union funds to GetUp! without authorisation, Michaelia Cash has suggested.

Well no [censored] Cash. Show us something we don't already know. Like some proof.

Quote:
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has accused Bill Shorten of treacherous behaviour over the latest development in the Federal Parliament's citizenship crisis.

Again, accusations. It sounds to me like they know their own party is in crisis so they're trying everything in their power to deflect the attention from them. But don't worry, they'll have Uncle Rupert dig up all he can on the left in the next few weeks, you can be sure of that.

Nothing new there. Just like the closet Liberal supporters pretending to be impartial. I have seen it all before.

Bill must be a good distraction for Cash after THIS effort.

She's useless.

Again for those who haven't worked out the paywall wink

Just 200 young people have got jobs in the first four months of the Turnbull Government’s $750 million youth employment program.

The PaTH program, as in Prepare, Trial, Hire, aims to provide young long-term unemployed with employability skills before they apply for an internship with the objective of getting a job.

Since April 1, 7000 young people have commenced employability training, 1,015 internships have started, and 200 young people have gained employment.

Employment Minister Michaelia Cash was forced today to defend the outcomes given the Government had promised up to 120,000 internships — 30,000 a year — over the life of the four year program.

“Well, it was always up to 30,000,’’ she told ABC radio.

Gotta love the out at the end. On schedule for 800 jobs after 12 months out of "up to 30,000.

You reported my post to the mods 5 minutes ago Samboz so why are you still attacking the person and not the point? The moderators have made it pretty black and white have they not? The thread is about politics, not your desire to be a moderator. Calling other members bigots probably won't help you though.

There is a chit chat thread for that.
