Absolutely - much worse then Wednesday, yet nil warnings. Strange. The gusts are especially intense and cold frown

Getting stronger here too, now to the point where these are the strongest gusts I've seen all year. It's quite amazing, these huge gusts of wind hit and then there's a lull period where you can hear the trees up the street. Literally feels like we're getting a squall line microburst every 2 mins. Except we never get storms with winds as strong as this!!

The major stations catching up with 80 and 82km gusts for Albion Park and Bellambi. I expect 100's to pop up soon.

PS: I haven't ventured outside yet but my room is freezing since the wind just blows through the closed window when it's this strong anyway.

Btw if winds like this were to hit Sydney, the whole place would be demolished because the trees would not be used to it like they are here.

After looking at the Lake and the ocean I thought 90-100kph gusts, very surprised when I got to work to see the Albion Parl obs a bit under what I though they should be .

Holy heck some of these gusts are just insane. Ballambi 53 knots or 98km/h! Close to the 100km/h mark. Getting close to Cat 2 cyclone range.

56 knots at Albion Park, we've broken the 100km/h mark! Savage gusts now, running out of adjectives TBH.

Quick video of 50 knot gusts with an interesting vorticity coming off the lake just to my right! Check it out, any thoughts what it is??? Defin associated with a savage increase in winds.

Anyone know how to embed the video? Cheers.

Don't think you can embed a vimeo video. You can embed youtube though by using the video button in your post tool bar.

Gusts of 102 kph have been recorded at Bellambi and Kurnell, 91 at Sydney Harbour.

It's been pretty full on here in bursts, with a bit of a lull now.

EDIT: Albion Park 104, Port Kembla 106.

I knew it would get to 100km/h at the stations soon enough, as it seemed like that speed here. Fell back asleep when the wind wasn't as noisy (didn't mean to lol) but awake now and can hear tree branch scraping on the roof. I think it's fallen down.

Nope it hasn't, thank goodness.
