Power flickered here on & off, so far it's managed to stay on (surprisingly!)

Cheers, I wish I'd focused on that vorticity(?) or whatever it was as it came ashore, sure was amazing, you could hear the roar as it approached.

My bedroom wall is literally flexing right now! eek that gust was at least 60 knots then.

Some remarkable flexibility being displayed by the glass panes on the new towers at Barangaroo. I wonder if the flexibility limit will be reached.

Actually yeah I see how that is Primbee. Hard to tell sometimes. poke

Geez you must get some bad wind there as it travels across the whole lake to get to you.

With any winds from the w/sw/nw, hell yes. They seem to accelerate across the lake and slam into us.

Quick video of 50 knot gusts with an interesting vorticity coming off the lake just to my right! Check it out, any thoughts what it is??? Defin associated with a savage increase in winds.

Anyone know how to embed the video? Cheers.

Looks like a waterspout imo - either super early or super late in its lifecycle. The only one I've spotted crossing land looked very similar after the 'spout' bit of it disappeared.
