Absolute stunning afternoon here, no wind, clear skies and most importantly no smoke!!

I see we have hail in the forecast too tomorrow and also the Hunter and Mid Nth coast have agreed on that snow will fall above 1200 metres!!

No precip today after yesterdays precocious showers. The towering clouds out to see at dusk yesterday were majestic. Hit around 19 today.

Mediocrity personified today, 5-20C, but no warmth in the air really. I must have blinked and missed that maximum. (or was during my afternoon nana nap)
Heading back to 17C on Monday, so we seem to be in regression mode at the moment.

Same here - forecast to get 20c and struggled to 18 (0.8 below average and 2c below forecast).

Already below average (now only 6c), looking at another below average night. Looks like we may Finish August dead on average after such a warm start.

We only got 17c, but it was a pleasant 17c at that.
Currently 7c outside, probably get as low as about 4c I reckon!!

Welp they changed "small hail" to just "hail" now. Wonder what that means.

Yeah, looked August 1995 was being put on notice early in the month!
Amazing how things can turn around so quickly in temperate oceanic climates like central eastern NSW.
Looking ahead, we have less than or equal to 20C all week, until finally some warmth next Saturday.

Wollongong: - With one more day to go and below average temps again forecast for tomorrow, we should finish August dead-on average (currently +0.2 for both Max & Mins). Sadly, yet another month of below average rainfall, but this is usually the drier time of year.

Hopefully September makes up for it smile
