Well it's dropped from 27 to 20 and still dropping, the coldest air hasn't arrived, I know. But it's still cooler than it was poke

It's cooler here too.

As I said, it's just a wind change and typical early Spring evening cooling in dryer air.

Even Thredbo and Perisher aren't really that cold yet.

I think that the cooler air will gradually filter through during the evening. 850 temps over Sydney will be about 10-11 at 2200, down from 14-15 this afternoon. By 0400 ithey will be 4-5, by 1000 about 2-3, where it will stay until another cool-down overnight Monday- Tuesday.

EDIT: I just tried Ski.com.au. Seems to be working (not registered there).

Yeh, I'm not registered either Steve, but thanks.
I've been trying to access it from my Favourites page all afternoon with no success.
I just tried opening in a new Google search and no problems.
Confused.

Yeah that is early spring for you, the last 3 nights were genuinely cold, and now we have a much milder night. (summer pj's nearly)
Still, we are now in a transitional period, and winter looks like it is going to slam its fist back on the table later this week and esp so by the weekend, so this warmth may be short-lived.
Some rain would be good though, as we have had very little since about mid June.

Maybe ski.com changed their site, affecting old links to their address. It might be an idea to just save the new link that works to favourites and use that in future.

-------

Winds in Sydney are turning SW and temps are dropping, slipping below 20.

Edit time run out!!

I estimate the rain gauge to about 12-13 year old and I estimate in that time it has seen about 17000mm of rain. And its only ever been filled to capacity once in the 24 hours to 9am, Feb 14th 2009 when 251.5mm fell and yes it did somehow hold 251.5mm when the box says 250mm capacity!! grin

Actually got to 24 here yesterday - quite hot in the sun.

In the breeze though it always seemed a little cool.

We had a lovely drive and a picnic along the Turon River yesterday. Found a couple of beautiful deep waterholes I've not been to before. A couple of little tracks I've never been down but always meant to smile Finally went down them in my red falcon with 4wd drive people watching me and wondering how I did it smile You can always tell the looks on their faces when a 2wd car pops up in places they thought were too tough grin

Eddy - definitely time to change the gauge grin

This week will be interesting in many places - let's see what unfolds.

My Dad was born in Hill End. There is a fairly deep waterhole near or at Sailer's Bluff.

My Dad seen a cod in the 1930's pulled from there that was well over 4ft long.

Doubt there is even one left in the river now due to all the carp.
