Evening all 3 cm here this morning with 6cm up the hill and 40 to 50cm wind drifts in a very exposed area 370m.
The snow settled here again at 5.30pm.
All frozen as slush now.

Hi tassie ppl , I am landing in there on the 21st for a holiday , love any feedback on chance of seeing snow while at we are there. I am hoping for another arctic blast just before we lob. We are spreading time all over the isle.

Last week's snow won't be going anywhere for a while, a short drive to Mt Field would be my area of choice. There will be snow on Mt Wellington too. The 10 day outlook looks good for minor top ups everywhere.

Even he is a little perplexed... parents are in the States on holidays, had they been here it might have been different... at least the little one had her first birthday on Sunday to deflect from my 36th.

Hi all

Very light dusting of snow frozen on the cars this morning. Have had frequent hail/sleet showers since daylight along with a little thunder and lightning. Nearby Mount Owen has a good blanket of snow down to about 400m.

Hi Payshense,
Snow this morning, no great showers to get it to settle but ice and slush on the deck.
Snow settled to 400m.
Had snow showers and sleet and hail around lunch time.
3mm today and 4.8mm till 9am

17.8mm in about 9hrs late yesterday. Best days rain since mid-July, also finally went past 500mm YTD. Haven't had more than 20m in a day since late May. Grass is green and really starting to grow at a nice rate, had to stick the mower in for a full service after a few hard years work.

Good news there Snowies. Will have to dust my mower off soon but mainly for the weeds.

So far ytd we are about 211mm only, should be about 450 by now. No sign of proper rain at all BUT FEEL like up here we might see some changes to patterns in October.

Bit of speckle cloud hitting Tassie at the moment - dare say a little fresh in exposed areas.
