Storm activity over inland parts of the Nambucca Valley this afternoon helped to bring 31mm at both Bowraville and Bowra Sugarloaf.
A band of rain moved through here during the late afternoon / early evening, which then cleared away about 30-40 minutes before sunset. 10.2mm since 9am. A nice rainbow appeared as the rain was clearing off this evening -

Sorry to hear that your cat has passed away, RWM.

I'm traveling interstate at the moment, but the wife just sent a text to say there was another 70mm in the gauge today. That would pretty much fill the tanks I reckon.
Would be interested to hear what our DV neighbors have recorded.

And I've been trying to get this image to work off my phone today, hopefully it works this time.
This is the remnants of Monday Night's rain offshore around the GC/NNSW area at about 6:30am this morning.

Fantastic photo wetdreams.

66mm in total here now, very happy. I think we'll here a symphony of mowers this weekend smile

Mate sorry to hear that, what type of snake was it? I thought most animals were immune to snake bites? Or is that spider bites im thinking of?

Thanks for the thoughts everyone.

Don't know type of snake. Cat slept in the garden a lot, so my guess is a travelling snake got him. Bitten on back leg. I did not find him for a day and by then it was too late.

3.5mm last 24hrs. Earlier fog is gone but still a little misty, humid & calm. Feels like more rain coming.
Great pix Seabreeze & wetdreams.

Cheers guys. I thought it was a nice way to finish a welcomed rain event.
Pretty much a sunny day here today (as was expected). 33.0mm in total here for event, and close to what was generally forecast. Also much appreciated after the extremely dry July-September period. Hopefully Mother Nature keeps on bringing some rain every now and then.

My Nylex has recorded 71mm in Toowoomba over the past 4 days, which has been most welcome. Interesting that the Airport, only 6kms away (straight line) recorded only 40mm over the same period. The maximum visibility on Monday where I live was never more than about 400m, and most of the time was about 'at arm's length'. I suppose that some of the Foggy Condensation would have contributed to the total in the gauge, as everything was dripping throughout the day, even though it wasn't actually raining.

I'm most certainly not complaining, 71mm has brought our tanks to 85%.
