Thanks Jacci,
Looking forward to seeing this develop for the upcoming wet season. It's certainly my favourite time of the year.
Also looking forward to seeing some images from people like you and Jason.

Yeah I've been a bit slack with getting out and chasing so far this year. Was a pretty big season of chasing up in the northern hemisphere again so motivation to get back into it here has been lacking so far but I'm sure that will change as the storms get a little more interesting.

I did head out yesterday afternoon however down towards Adelaide River/ Emerald Springs area with a few of the local crew and got on to some nice storms. Lightning strikes earlier in the afternoon however ignited a few fires around the place making visibility pretty ordinary.

Not too many keepers from me but I think the others got a few nicer shots.

Decent storm through town in the wee hours too with quite the barrage of close bolts and some heavy rain. Anti-social time of day so didn't bother trying for any shots. Airport total for October now over 100mm bringing it well above average for the month.

You are far too modest. I would be more than happy with one keeper, particularly if it looked like that. Taking photos is one thing, but taking photos of storms/lightning is another. I just don't have the time or patience for it. Thankfully we have people like you who do, and who are also willing to share these with others.
