I've just responded to Hopefull via PM about this but I said,
" It's ok, I don't think I should've said what I did about how I'm done with these forums. If we understand where each one of us is coming from, then there should be no reason for either of us to leave. "

The last sentence says it all.

Thank you to those people who've said kind words but I think we've finally settled that now, so let's put this one to bed and go back to talking about weather events smile

Anyway. Is it just me or has the focus of the rain shifted north towards the sunshine coast already?

I often wonder why I am so concerned about Warwick and surrounds, just an emotional attachment but I think I am now cured. I will state again Ken I want you to continue posting and I will butt out. There is one thing that shocked me once is during those quiet times when I would just recount past big events I was told that some hated it. I will just go on reporting just like RMV if this stuff can be dropped. But I wonder. Many apologies.

As a more passive rather than active forum member over a number of years, I, like the overwhelming majority, would be most disappointed to lose access to the informative, comprehensive professional, balanced and timely contributions from Ken Kato. The effort he makes in providing information and guidance is considerable and is value-adding to a significant degree particularly in regard to threatening weather. Keep up yje excellent work Ken. Without you this forum would become diminished in terms of content and relevance.

Ken please rise above all this rubbish. Many casual posters on here are heavily reliant on your input! Other bloke clearly trying to destabilise these conversations and has been doing it for ages. Thought I was the only one who recognised it.

Thanks everyone smile I don't want anyone to leave these forums because of some argument though.
So let's move on and talk about the current weather event in the other thread smile

Well it seems like patience has worked for us in Silkstone, over night tll 9.00am we have received about 10mm, with slightly heavier rainfall continuing at the moment. Our part of this wet event is happening.

Bugger the grass will grow quickly when the heat returns and that means mowing again.LOL
