Hoping the Boonah/Beauy line will make it over the hinterland, Canungra Tambo hills & on to the GC, 32 deg atm. But could be a typical charged up through the Logan Beenleigh corridor ? Or maybe the GC will still have good conditions later this eve/night ?

Hey Blowin, have upgraded the size of the Iron roofing sheet, laugh wink

Looking impressively threatening to my SW in line with the current radar.

This view from the Airservices/Bureau aviation weather camera at Archerfield Airport was looking SW a short time ago:

Storm tracker has a lot of lightning showing up and looks more impressive than MT Stappy, A small squall line showing up on the Doppler that just went through Beaudesert/ Canugra and Greenbank.

Bad dark spots on the BOM radar. Put the hail shield on the camper, almost here at Sunnybank now. Came out of nowhere?

Loving the sound of so much thunder this arvo, and the yard has had a nice watering now also. Rain appears to the easing up and about to stop, 13.4mm in the gauge currently.

I am a bit surprised that no warning was issued compare to NSW for the NE and Tablelands. It was a weaker storm but just of interest was the doppler. (Just had an a beauty of a crack of thunder.)

Doppler radar has what appears to be a good wind gust hit Greenbank through to Logan from 15:13 to 15:36, that last for about for approx. 17minutes of what looks to be about 80+km/h winds. Prior to that at approx 15:07 there is a weak squall line visible.

6.3mm in this part of the world from that first round. No wind to speak of, quite steady rain for about 10mins or so. Distant thunder on 3 occasions.

11.7mm total here so far in 3 seperate thunder showers. Looks like a nice storm with possible hail passed between Warwick and Allora about 30 min ago. It was likely around the Massie/Deuchar area, near the airport. Sometimes a hot spot for storms. Very scattered activity, but nice to see,

Don't know you are aware of these two web cams out at the Warwick gliding club Warwick Eye2Sky. I haven't had a close look to work out which way they face yet. The time lapse makes for good viewing.

Wow, excellent webcams FC. Thanks for sharing! Yes, looks like they got slammed at about 1500.
More little cells now approaching the area from the West. See what they bring....

Just landed back on the Sunny Coast, saw the forecast this morning so I made sure I had a window seat for this one.
Wasn't disappointed... smile

The quality isn't the greatest, but as good as it gets using a phone through a plane window.

Looking NW from Inverell about an hour ago.

This was over the border ranges from above.

And from below (taken over the top of the GC).
