Agreed, awesome stuff Joe. I never get sick of seeing timelapse videos that show the dynamics causing supercells to rotate.

The latest projections from access R keep most of todays activity well inland.Whats the chances of some thundery activity reaching the coast later.I know we shouldnt take too muck notice of the precipitation areas as far as thunderstorm activity is concerned if we are just thunder and lightning maniacs haha

Hey Joesk, you are the master, you are the Stephen King (and that is meant as complement, the master of suspense) of SEQ storms, you give it the bone chilling/mystic factor with the music, filming and editing, while mesmerizing us with the beauty and power of the storm and scenery. I reckon you could win a couple of short film comps going around.

Being trendy now, or from our generation a :yuppy", you caught the “quintessence of life” of the storm. (the noun. The pure, highly concentrated essence of a thing.)

Excellent mate. Thank you so much for your time and sharing it with us.

Cheers thanks for all the positive feedback and comments re the videos, I really do appreciate it, especially as at times I can be a bit doubtful or self critical of them. Thanks.
I'm glad that you get some enjoyment from them, nothing beats standing out there watching it all happen in real time but it's nice to try and capture and share some of it.

Thanks Colin, I take that as a great compliment, I haven't really thought about the short film scene but I have been doing some multi camera music clips of live performances, as a friend has a small music venue and has a few folk/ bluesy / roots acts from here and around the world play there.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with the finished product, but I've spent most of the last 2 years working on a project for myself up on and around Mt Lindesay.
Documenting everything that happens up there, time lapsing the clouds , mist , stars, wildlife etc. all from different viewpoints and on the mountain ( be that only half way up, I'm no climber). I thought it would take me 1 year , we are know at 2 years and I reckon I need at least another 4 years.

Enough rambling from me, thanks again,

Cheers Joe, or on that Facebook thing Charlie Spagalli 😃
