I'm still hopeful of another storm, still cloud about, let's see if Sir Showalter hits the mark 😀

That convergence line into Adelaide's coast is loaded with accas, can see their tops growing from here. Good sign.

And so ends another disappointing day. I always had a feeling we'd get something from this but hey if I was in Roxby Downs right now I'd be in my element. Not expecting any surprises in the wee hours frown

Quite a nice storm off Brighton atm.

edit: many, many CC's in this! It looks impressive from up here in the NE even as I can see the cloud top being lit up.

That is a mighty impressive storm, still powering on and growing as it looks to hit Strathalbyn head on!

Meh?? Haven't seen you post before, but you remind me of someone.... 🤔🤔... Anyway, are you in Peterborough?? That's 250km from Adelaide. You get lots of storms there, so your turn will come 🤣... At least your not somewhere like the Riverland, wow, I really feel sorry for those people, really, I do.

Have a great day anyway 😀

Yesterday was one of the best storm days for me in the end. I know of another fellow zoner who coped the last storm around 1:30am. The bolts that storm put out over a large area was insane to say the least 😀😀

Recorded 4.7mm from yesterday's rainfall event.

The rain and cloud structure to the north and underneath of that Brighton cell was very impressive, undulating and wavy. Saw one crawler when I eventually went outside to have a look.

Hows the low just sitting in central SA atm. The definition in the low cloud that has defined its core has been fascinating to watch. Seems to be convecting up now as is it a little unstable still today, drizzling currently in Clare.

Nothing too flash sadly last night apart from that one cell through the southern burbs after midnight but alas from the southern side was pretty much just flickers, 3 cg's seen out front on right side and behind rain so fairly lacklustre. Hail in the cores though which was solid but none here. Need more shear aloft with such a setup to get those strong CG producers which we normally get and not 99% CC dominated ones like that. At least meteorologically it went up as expected.

Friday the next chance.

TS cool

Only certain forecasts got it correct. BOM was correct up until they said "a possible Thunderstorm until early evening". Pretty sure 1:30am isn't early evening. 🤔🙄😎

And the only one you got that storm correct was GFS and Showalter, as mentioned prior to it developing.

I love reading your posts TS, just had a gripe with that one line 😁
