I'm under a shady tree near Gatton, seen a couple of towers race up only to quickly halt then dry up and disappear. Was thinking of moving east a bit

Hope you guys get something, I don't think we will be as lucky, its so hot up here in Proserpine, can see a small tower going up but not very impressive and seems to be sliding away from here frown hopefully tomorrow will bring better luck for all of us.

Just havin a look out toward the border ranges particularly to the southwest from my vantage point near Terranora ,there definitely looks like worthwhile convection taking place

Don't think it's looking to bad convection staying up longer then 2 hrs ago, by satelite is the trough still out in the Maranoa? Which is all we need a bit more moisture? Cap must be high today but temp still going up. I reckon couple of hours might be nice and stormy

33 with a dewpoint of 23 here, been clear and hot all day, feels like a good storm day.

Hopefully things will kick off later on, having dinner overlooking the bay at Woody Point so would be a spectacular view.

Afternoon all.
First SEQ blips on Radar near Mulgowie plus a faint line out near Roma.
33 deg here with 32% humidity.
Be interesting to see what unfolds.

GFS along with the rest of the models look much better for this area tomorrow. Still touch & go for Brisbane south though I think.

Radar is looking a bit better combining that with the Brisbane obs. More of of NEaster kicking in. You can feel the the breeze here now at Bracken Ridge. Humidity is starting to climb a bit now as well. Feels like a bit more moisture coming in,
The cell out Mulgowie way is building. It will give us a bit of a heads up over the next few sweeps, if it can hit that NE feeder we will see some action.

Edit 256K radar has a few cells starting to pop up, so keep an eye on those too.

ahh, yes, all or nothing for tomorrow..

Some cloud over the border-ranges but no bulk to them, often happens due to local upheaving, not necessarily an indication of good potential, tho a worthy note .
Mmmm, am heading to coast directly, dam warm atm, !

Can see the seabreeze heading inland toward that Marburg cell. Will be interesting to see what happens once they interact.

I like how the cell out near Warwick and Allora is forming at this stage. A very slight bow in it visible on the 256k Stappy radar. Wind gaining more strength as the arvo moves on at Bracken Ridge.
