Low-topped showers I'm guessing, escaping the radar. Nevertheless, great to wake up to a few extra millimetres this morning!

35mm in the gauge when I arrived home from mildura, compared to the 72mm which fell at Dareton (across the river from mildura)on wed afternoon/evening. Closed all the golf courses in the area on Thursday.

nice sky around metro this morning....
Should see fair bit of convection today. Think we could get a few showers pop up in the Mid north and Adelaide Hills.

Wed-Thurs looking very promising for storms/showers.

Insane prog that 18z GFS, has storms daily for nearly a week. Will have to take it with a grain of salt however given how poorly gfs has been performing this season, other models not as keen.

Lots of dark clouds popping up in the Adelaide hills, wonder if there's anything in it for us in Mount Barker?

Hi everyone, long time listener to the forum. Just wondering what we will see around the metropolitan area tomorrow and Wednesday? The bureau has 10mm for Thursday.
Regards Tim.

I wouldn't expect much if anything on wednesday at this stage. Thursday is tricky, just west and north it could be quite wet over EP/YP and parts of the Mid North with some activity over Adelaide, but again chiefly N of the city. The further south one goes, the drier it gets on thursday. Friday has potential for afternoon showers and possibly a storm on ranges but the whole system is weakening significantly.

TS cool

The bureau are saying it's up to 40mm's of rain in the West, 2-10mm's for here in the next 4 days, I'd be happy with 10mm's on my garden :-)

models (apart from EC) have ramped up rainfall thats for sure. I think the city has a chance at 20mm over the next 3 days. Certainly much higher falls over the EP and MN.
