Best we can do out here is a bit of cloud that doesn't look like it will bring any rain at all. Just looks pretty. mad

The grass has faded, and crunches as you walk over it.
Fire over towards the Featherbeds quite smokey.

Almost completely overcast, and nothing on the radar.
Hot, muggy, just 34 degrees, 40% humidity.
Real exciting stuff....

Well. DEC 21 and no hint of a monsoon yet. I would say the correlation between a couple of early nesting crocs and an early wet season just got a little weaker. Oh well. It was a fun concept frown

Summer soltice today!

Going to be a very dry December at Bilyana if we don't get some rain soon. At this stage, it's currently the second driest December on record... GFS continues to hint at some activity between 28/12 to 5/1.

Methinks it's absolute bull$hit.
The camera is set up on a tripod, completely motionless and aiming exactly at the spot in question. Too suss.
I think it's some rednecks fishing with 'expanding bait'.

What’s going on over there RF? Currently in France and looking back at home weather, is it ever going to start raining there? From the forecasts it looks hot .....

Did you fly or drive Ron...?....

Just got back from a 10 day road trip with the boy through central western Qld down to Western NSW..scored 42c one day, some hail another day ,caught a Murray Cod one afternoon, stuffed a diff seal and wheel bearings which wasn't much fun to fix in the heat another day..and paid over $1.60 a litre for fuel in one god forsaken place...and the staffy got a bit of heat exhaustion...soooo happy to be back home..

Bloody dry from Charters Towers south..and really dried off around here now too..a bit of a change from getting nearly 500 mm last month..sprinklers on to the keep the lawn green..at least the grass and weeds didn't grow too much whilst I was gone..

Merry xmas ..!

Interesting. You can count the 6 or 7 separate charges coming toward the camera after the det cord ignites the first charge.
Maybe this sort of thing would work instead of dredging the Cairns inlet. eek

Hi all.yesterday afternoon I was at house on a ridge looking out over the panorama between Broken Head and Lennox Head when we had a ripper storm go through. About an hour of constant lighting, wind an heavy rain. Absolutely magnificent

This summer sucks so far... it has been quite cool and dry...

Any signs of a wet coming through? Or could it be another dud season?

Flew to Melb then got a car Pogo, went down Torquay way for a couple of days then up to Lakes Entrance area. Mostly mins in low teens and then max in low 20s. Like consant aircon really. Should warm up a bit more from today onward. Hopefully something will start up our way soon.
