83.8mm at home. Maybe some light stuff to come later. Also noticed some nice storms popping up out Emerald way. It will be interesting to see if it keeps building out there where the mids are drier.

I was hoping for another downpour before the change comes through but canít be too disappointed. The storms out that way still have some severity but definitely doesnít seem as conductive for as many storms around like yesterday frown

I do not know what we ended up over the past week but 100mm at least. It has rained nearly every day since Wednesday.

Mosquitoes have hatched out. It is drying out nicely now. Lawn is growing about an inch a night.

Hi all, had a great start to the season so far. 8 inches in October and then another 3 and half inches last week. Very green here. Looking forward to seeing more of the wet stuff.

Huge difference to last year in rainfall.

I briefly looked in our rainfall book and we are over a metre of rain here for the year so far.

Not a big difference for Yeppoon

Total For 2017
1070.6mm 116 Day(s)
Total To This Day 2016

1076.6mm 110 Day(s)

Looks like a return to SE winds next Wednesday... looking at GFS it shows a warm Christmas but a return to a little cooler from Wednesday.

Cannot remember if we got these SE winds this time last year. December I swear was warmer or maybe it was Jan- March.

It really hasn't felt too bad yet... though summer isn't really starting until the 21st right du to day length etc....

Be interesting to see if this band of storms inland makes it to the coast

Whilst I won't object to a drop or 3 of rain I don't need some nasty storm. smile

Mate told me today that her house in Brisvegas now has water stains on the ceiling where the wind yesterday blew the rain up under the tiles.

Got a very short shower. That was it. Wouldn't mind a drop or two but it may be on it's way. I did see a couple of jet streams the other day.
