My understanding of the english language is fine. Unlike our illustrious premier, who apparently does not understand the difference between no and yes. No deals, apparently means, I will make a deal.

Well you didn't understand what I said.....I give up.

Thanks Labor !

Long overdue. Maybe the CBA scrapping ATM fees after ripping off Australians for the past 3 decades can save their arses wink

Is it still funny now that Shorten also said he should resign? Even though he took Chinese $$$ as well?

So what happens if Labor only get 46 seats and Annastacia keeps her promise, we will end up with LNP in government with maybe 42 seats, ONP with 1, KAP with 2, and the IND with 2. The LNP will still be outnumbered by Labor and have to rely on all the small parties to get things through provided none of their own side don't cross the floor.

I do not believe the private life of politicians should not be a concern for their ability to do their job and I was merely pointing it out that the rumours are public knowledge. Shorten went through a smear campaign about his marriage and getting a staffer pregnant 5 or so years ago so it seems to come from all sides of politics.

if Labor dont have the numbers, and Plukaduck sticks with her promise of no deals with minor parties, then its up to the Liberals to come up with enough support and supply to form government. If they can't then its back to the polls once again.

Good call on Shorten's choice to sack Dastyari, that guy was still up to no good, imo.

CF, a typo!

Dastyari hasn't been sacked, he was just told to quit his role as opposition whip. a $10,000 a year pay cut.

Mr Shorten has dumped Senator Dastyari from his position as assistant Senate whip as well as his role as a Senate committee chair.

Not dumped, he stood aside & no itís not even close to being sacked. Shorten has no balls! Imagine the hyper-outrage on here if it were the LNP...the lack of concern is disgusting.

I heard Shorten called him in and it was an ultimatum. If so. Good on Shorten. Should have happened a long time ago but like Turnbull there is politics to consider

The ABC just updated their site to have the ALP having won 47 seats. No articles on it anywhere though.

I had a look yesterday and I think she will scrape in. Big sigh of relief for her as she starts to extract that rod she made for her own back.

Trad won't be happy, she would of started redesigning the Premiers office in her dreams. She would of gladly made the deals with the minor parties even though she was right behind the Premiers decision. Oh the ducks and drakes of politics. Slippery little vixen she is.

The blood letting has already started, but it is within the ALP for crying out loud, as the growing left side of the party angle towards a bigger slice of the pie. The North got nothing when Pitt was treasurer. Can you get anything less than nothing?😢

Sam Dastyari was sacked from his leadership positions not the party.
