Sunshine Coast is doing ok so far CirrusFibratus...

Yeah, itís looking to be a northern Sunshine Coast north gig at the moment.
Though anywhere north of Caboolture is getting a bit wet - just as forecast by the BOM. 👍

Actually the steering winds look to be more south east, so I would think the heaviest falls will be Caloundra north, rather than northern sunny coast northwards.

Gympie is getting hammered. Looks a lot better on Stapy, as usual.

I'm surprised there wasn't more today though, to be honest, especially south of the northern Sunshine Coast.

A few days ago I mentioned Mary river still carrying some flow from last weeks rain. Mary peaked at Gympie early Saturday a few metres below minor level and peak was around Tiaro earlier today.
Further Mary river catchment rain leading to river rises possible, or if not more localised in one or two of her tributary creeks.

Well rumbling thunder here for over an hour and lots of humidity and some rain but light. Storms at the moment seem unable to make it to us or closer to the coast. Have to wait and see.

The cell north of Kilcoy is the one to watch, depends how south it ends up or if it hits dry air before hand

EC significantly increasing rainfall amounts through the eastern WBB for tomorrow afternoon & evening since this morning's run. It suddenly has the trough lingering near Fraser and Capricornia coast for longer than originally forecast. First two pics are EC, third is GFS, which has the trough well off the coast by tomorrow night. ACCESS (not shown) is a little in between:
