There is a low pressure system on SW WA's doorstep, with potential rain...how much is desired? Perth has had 7.4 mm to 9 am on the 4th of this month.

This forum requires some reinvigoration...by many. Don't ask me how.

Hi Seira unfortunately nobody from Perth reporting on this forum so if you want to help fill in a void ....
Ever thought of moving to Perth?

I go down there every few months so hard to get report on real time weather events but don't mind informing on any systems that come through the area.

Low and associated front bought widespread rain to the south west /wheatbelt and adjacent areas.

Onshore winds and rough seas for the next few days ....not good for baoting.

I think there is more pertinent question to ask, that does not involve interstate curiousities.

Yes, there is a surface/upper low, which is now pressing against the 576 thickness contour to it's E-ENE...which has not been seen for a while.

Front and low bought some good rain to the south west and south coastal and adjacent areas yesterday.
Unusual weather for this time of year but I have seen similar weather happen in Jan a few years ago.
