Weak storm passing over. Light rain and a couple of grumbles. Saw one CC. Nice.

Now only if it would deliver some measurable falls.

Just heard a peel of thunder, then another. I checked the radar and see we are blessed by storm cells again. Just like mid afternoon, the radar is full of small cells. Now here come the rain - 4th storm if the day.

Not wrong Steve, its seems to be all round atm. Lightening and thunder in all directions atm. Its has been a good storm day/night for the basin.

Boy it was nice to open up the house and get a more pleasant air flow through.

House still a bit warm from retained heat, hopefully cooler tonight.

No precip out here but glad to read that others had some fun smile

A cooler, wetter January to March quarter is on the cards for Eastern NSW: January to March Outlook

The current pattern does look set to switch from Christmas. Christmas and Boxing day look like writeoffs weatherwise for Sydney, improving after that with a short burst of heat late next week.

After that? It looks like a quite changeable and maybe stormy pattern.

Agree - if those TC's get going, we will see a sharp change in patterns. Hadley Cell should finally establish itself and monsoon should get going.

Well you've made my day smile

I've been hoping it might be that way after the terribly hot summer we had earlier this year and then month after month of above average temps.

Interesting here at the farm this morning, I checked the radar and there's a little blob right over us. The little blob has delivered around 10mm so far, and it's still bucketing down!!!
