Local barometric pressure is falling to sub-1000 levels -- even with the Bureau in the city, with emphasis.

Seeing some huge flashes of lightning in the west. Huge rumble of thunder just now too. I'm at Salisbury.

16.4mm Seaford Meadows....a lovely drop but sadly as expected the rainband took over as things got near Adelaide. Very frustrating given how strong it was firing out west but the timing was just a bit too late for maximum potential. A few very nice crawlers seen however... But very glad for the rain at least.

TS cool

That was nice. The kids woke me up middle of last night so I got to watch a nice light show.

Saw a few Ripper Rita crawlers around 845pm while near West Beach. Heard rain and a rumble sometime during the night and found 9.4mm in the gauge in the morning. Nice drop for the garden but most importantly some cool air to reduce the temperature in the house and be able to sleep!
