Round 2 for Kingaroy, looks like you're in for a downpour up there.

Very electric; nice steady rain , just increasing a bit now. No wind worries this time ... so far.

Only 6mm here, it did the usual and split over our heads. 6mm still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick and some of those crawlers at the back end of that storm were fantastic. And Kingaroy can be guaranteed to cop some cracker storms over the next few days as I'll be in Brisbane from tomorrow until the 2nd!

0mm on the east side of the Bruce.

I'd be surprised if I was surprised at that.

Yes, well the early hours of Sunday morning has proved that, a decent storm going over the GC now and no sun to be seen, must be a lot of instability overhead at the moment. Going to be a interesting day.

Mr hollywoods upgraded his warning to the heighest possible, with dangerous thunderstorms for the next 3 days. Guess you don't sell subscriptions with boring dull non dramatised weather

My 12 year son's mate sent him a message last night informing us of a cyclone on new years eve - in Caloundra, his Mum read it on facebook. 100% cloud cover here with extreme humidity and very light breeze. Don't mind the odd cooling afternoon cyclone!
