This is one of my favourites

But it usually shows Chillagoe in the white, it's as bad as the radar... frown

22mm overnight...what a January!

Interesting 100mm less than the CBD area and 50mm less than the airport.

After just one fine, mostly sunny day, the backyard is losing that 'boggy' smell.

The lawn has become supercharged, going to have to amp up the mower for the next few cuts

Should get some decent falls over the weekend with a trough moving up the coast.

Yekkk, bl**dy black stink beetles, en mass.
No sign of rain.
Has Fehi taken it all away?
Then again, might live in hope the moisture moves over from the gulf.

And a shower during the night with 2mm brings me to 852mm for January , Not a bad effort smile
Now if we can get a bit of what Darwin and Broome have had with the next Monsoon burst that would be nice.

Cheers

What's been your Jan totals in recent years, Bunyip ??

I managed 728.2 mm for the month, so I didn't beat Jan 2010 of 769.2 for the month.
Looked likely 'til about 4 days ago, then pffft.

Forecast for a mostly sunny day YS..radar looks as clear as it has in ages..might have a chance to see the eclipse now if I don't fall asleep waiting for it..

Barra season starts tomorrow..hopefully a bit of streamflow might have stirred them up a bit..
