There is no rest for me. Back to having 2 dogs under my feet, shows their terror because without a storm they can't be within 20 feet of each other without trying to kill each other, but are now a foot apart under my feet.

I have a storm sitting over the top of us.

At least I know my house is safe from the last one. Insurance co sent out a sparky to check the wiring and such to make sure the house wasn't going to burn down. That was nice of them. I was able to give him another job down the road at the oldies place. They too had similar issues.

We got 12ml from that storm. Son in law who is camped down the river with my son and a couple of others got slammed by the storm. Son's boat filled to above the floorboards. Everything is drenched including the insides of the swags. Poor boys. grin

I could see the worst of it was just to the south of us. Just where they were camped. Lightning strike hit close to them too. They probably need new underwear this morning.

The storm has certainly be slow moving. It is only just off the coast now.

I am hoping it stays down there. I don't want it. I am back to having 2 house dogs as it is all rumbly here even though it seems to be east and north of us. There is also a bit out the west and yours to the south.

Of course with the rain that we just missed but hammered down a few k from home the roads are playing submarine again.

I think when I go to town Monday I will restock the pantry a bit more.

Just told the daughter who lives around a corner or 2 from you how much has fallen. She was surprised it was that much. She doesn't have a rain gauge.

Up over 170mm now. It eased briefly but the rain rate is back up around 70 mm per hour.

Holy crap Coldfront, thatís amazing. This is strange weather itís just muggy as hell in Gladstone. With the MT set to make a proper appearance soon I have a feeling we may be in for a surprise in the next couple of weeks. Access is showing a CS low on the end of its run. For the last 2 runs anyway.

I'd love to be able to share it around. We don't need it at the moment after a few days of wet stuff prior to today.

Nearly 300 mm in 5 days.

A couple of models hinting at a low in the CS in their extended runs.
