Extended probably wasnt the best wording, but it's the hottest period in a couple of years.

Two days on top of two already very hot days, then another burst of heat later next week, probably some more days in the 40ies. And inbetween not all that much respite, with low to mid 30ies, away from the coast at least. Thats what I meant by extended.

Was looking at the BOM data at 1.30pm it said 41 feels like 33/34 that seems quite "pleasant".
