Very hot day today, got to 36C, 3C over the forecast. Still 34C now, aircon has been on all day. Look forward to some milder days ahead when it can finally be turned off.
Going to the Bay tomorrow for the day, so should be much milder there.

Quite pleasant here with a high of 24C. Currently 16C with storms all around. 10mm so far - on top of 8.5mm yesterday.

Don't know which is worse. Day in day out hot days. Or short super hot day spikes in an otherwise ordinary summer. I think the day in day out thing gets to ya. The brief spikes bearable with the promise of cooler relief. Jeez its been a stretch away from coast now.
The breeze would be a real sea gale at the beach now. Really blowin over the lake.

I will just settle for a few beers and bets instead!! wink

A fairly strong sea gale here.

Enjoy the bay tomorrow Derek.

We should start a beers and bets thread eddy. It will be weather related as we will discuss if the morning dew downgraded the track from a good 4 to a soft 5

Great cell sitting right on top of us now for about 20 minutes, heaps of CGs so close, road flooding, temp dropped 10 deg, still going strong.

Good idea as I try and find a winner in the get out stakes at Rosehill, any tips?

We cracked 31c today, dewpoint has been a healthy 22c. Gfs looks promising as does CMC for some decent precip.

That's so good, hope the storms west of me can push east while the Seabreeze drops off.

Good stuff DVC. Has looked good on radar for a few hours down your way. The furthest outreach of warragambas catchment stretches down 50ks or so sth from goulburn and has been under heavy storms the last few days. No capetown for sydney then!

Sorry ed, got ure msg too late. Although on a positive note i wouldve only tipped you into 5th place in the "dig up, stupid" stakes! Days like today i just wish i could be bothered driving 300ks for a storm but i just cant. So ill watch severe youtube storms with subwoofer 100%

I got 2nd in the last!! wink

CMC has a low spawning of the far Nth Coast of NSW on Tuesday and has it slipping southeast on Wednesday with a ridge riding up the coast. CMC has rain mostly north of the Central Coast all the way to the border.
Gfs was the extended version, moist onshore easterlies around the 7th Feb.
Somehow I don't think CMC will come off!!
The more likely scenario will be as what Kizz, Steve777 & WR mentioned earlier today, coastal southerlies bringing the odd shower.

All the grey gums on my property have shed a lot of bark to have that orange/grey look to them. Its usually a one in 5yr thing ive noticed. Or is it to do with prolonged dryness?
Not to worry edward, plenty of winners with our names on them next saturday🍻

Zero chance unless it somehow reforms in the Sydney basin.
