Wish it felt like that here C@28. Was 35.5c at 4:30 with a HI still over 38c. Yuk!!
All this heat has got to lead to some nice storms surely. Steering improves on Friday with lots of instability around from Friday onward too.

Still 33.8 degrees here and 38% humidity.
Dark sky to the south of us, but the cell is at least 50km away and heading west frown
But getting a slight cool breeze, occasionally.

I'm not too confident about your TSV mates getting a wet arse this weekend Simmo.
But you would be more of a chance up there than down here on the coast. Fingers crossed.

Yeah things looking good Friday through Sunday out here hickory, with Saturday being my pick for something good. But, as we all know, storms are fickle things and 500m could be the difference between 50mm or 1mm.

37.4 degrees at 1.20pm.
30% humidity, ughhh...

It was already 34 degrees at 9am

The grass still looked green yesterday, today it is very obviously drying out, difference a day makes.

Hope we get some of that predicted possible rain.

Made it to 38 degrees at 2pm. Forgot to look at 2.30pm which is usually the hottest part of the day.

Currently 37.7 and 30% humidity.

Lots of puffy clouds in the sky again, not the promising type though. Occasional gusts of wind that are not hot but not cold, but the type that sets the sails flapping. Not a bad day actually, now that it's almost over.

Think it's still been dropping to about 22 degrees pre-sunrise.

Damn, I hate it when I can smell it.

Small cells to the north-east and south-east, and nothing here.

Yeayyy, 10 minutes later we got rain. Without going out to look, I reckon about 2-3mm? Little bit of lightning and occasional thunder, not much tho.
The town guinea fowl were quite perturbed, big blobs of raindrops landing on them as they ran towards the sunshine.
...wow that was just a nice flash, and thunder, close by.

Edit: 7mm 29.1degrees 58% humidity

Nice C@28. The cells look pretty good out your way. The one near Watsonville looked awesome from here.
29.1c, 70% humidity, going to be a warm night I think

Power failed 10 minutes ago.
Radar shows a doozy of a storm. I don't see how this one can miss us this time. Lot of lightning, thunder in the distance.

How did you fair C@28? Looks like it died on top of Chillagoe but hopefully you got some.

It died on top of the Featherbeds. We just caught the forward edge and thankfully it gave us 11mm.

So that's 17mm for previous 24 hours.

A lot of lightning but the thunder was mostly distant. We did get a few loud ones towards the end. Most lightning I've seen for ages. Power came back on as it started to rain, but it was over not long after 1am.

Currently 27.3 degrees 74% humidity, bit of high cloud around.
