Isn't it a bit premature to have a flood warning this early? Lets hope it actually happens. I'll check the gutters tomorrow!

I'm building, and expect the slab to be poured the week after next... lets hope its dry for that!

Thinking that the kamikaze beetles had increased, but no, the sound is actually the tiniest bit of rain from a very faint cell to the east of us, that barely shows on the radar. Fingers and toes crossed.

Plenty of lighning here form about 2:30am on wards, and some good grumbles of thunder from 4am.

Rain wise it was just light misty rain from 4:30am.

Must be a bit wild under that. Just received this text from EWN:

"QLD Severe T'Storm: Heavy Rain. Mareeba, Einasleigh, Atherton, Lyndhurst Station, Rollingstone, Millaa Millaa areas at risk next several hours."

Considering it was 100% chance of rain from late morning, it has been a long hot day so far. It will rain tonight however.

Stupid models and forecasts...we would have went camping to Hinchinbrook this weekend if I had known it was actually going to be a perfect weather weekend..

It looked very promising for Simmo an hour ago, then it all fell apart, just to his west.
DP and humidity have been right up there. Sorta feels like it did before that rain in the 3rd week of Jan.
