To the west of Simmo, to the east of us.
EWN had us right in the midst of it.

Reckon we all ought to go back to using our intuition.

Nothing... I am going to bed. Hope to wake up with something wet and rainy approaching from the east...that has been the set up over the previous occasions like this.

Just got home from work where it hammered down at about 6:30. Looks like the town got 31mm from it. I managed 15.2mm at my place. Hopefully it will be a wet night.

Off to SA tomorrow where it looks like perfect weather with sunny windless days and temps around 35c-40c. I just hope I can get down the range tomorrow.

Well Mr Weatherzone, 3 minutes left to get 40 - 80 mm.
I'm not a betting man, but this would be a safe bet !

Well, well, well, go to bed early for once, rain still hasn't arrived, groggily hear heavy rain at one stage but then the wind wakes me so I get up, check South Johnstones weather at 3am and its 120mms!
So, do the dash to gauge and lo and behold, just in the nick of time - its at 150mm.
And still throwing down - sneaky old weather systems.

South Johnston over 141mm now and going well.
Anyway, my bedtime. The mowerman is due to come today. I think he might find it too wet and make a mess.

RF still raining down here but letting up a bit now. If I had to hazard a guess we would be close to 100mm. Might be a day to put your feet up and enjoy the rain as it heads your way.

Anyway off to Mackay for me. Wet start to the journey.

200mm here now at 5am, creek sounding fearsome.
We usually get more than South Johnstone - see they are at 170mm now.
Beginning of December, we had a quick 60mm and Sth Johnstone - nothing.

24mm overnight, this trough had better get its act together (after Simmo gets down the range of course)
