what time is southerly due NF..

It pokes into SEQ later tonight/early hours of tomorrow morning. We should see overnight activity with it but unlikely to be particularly severe compared to an afternoon storm.

thanks NF. looks like you were spot on with it weakening as it approaches the coast...at least for us on the sunny Coast anyway. Fingers crossed we seem some activity later tonight.

A very nasty looking storm incoming from the south here. After Wednesdays effort with hail and 120km/h wind gusts for once I'm gonna say i do not want this storm!! Bugger off!! eek

Some spectacular lightning all around me here Gus. Just starting to get a bit gusty here now, but the first line looks like it intensified after it passed us

Just about done n dusted here. Wind wasn't too bad, gusts of 85km/h at the airport. A few more tree limbs down and a bit of a leak in the roof courtesy of the last storm but nothing major. No hail either which is a bonus. Rain was torrential and is still moderate-heavy which is just lovely grin Bit more building behind this lot so maybe more to come?

Yeah well I just heard a lot of rumbles and bangs back tht way so I daresay more to come. After all these storms the yard is now officially in flood; water flowing freely here lol. Temperature of 18 is a bit hard to take though huh Gus? Wonder how cool it is in the city now? lol. Yeah we got more branch down in the street mine survived again but hell they bent over a lot, Wind direct from the South this time so it hits my front garden full on. They warned of hail but I saw none. still drizzling & more to come but at least I can open the windows now & give the AC a break tonight.

Next lot that's coming does seem to have a green tinge under all that fluffiness I guess it's a wait & see. Could just be the perspective I have of it. But certainly much more to come.
edit: Looking at the radar images, poor old Dalby have registered nothing from that; seems it didn't start dropping down till it got over the range this time. Could bode well for our friends on the Sunshine Coast!

Thanks Gus... they come around too quickly.

Ended up with 52mm here. There still might be something brewing on the Bunyas but clear here at the moment.

Yeah I 'm glad that lot went west ; poor old Cushnie & surrounds will get it again; 4 out of 5 days... sheesh.
DNO yep, been looking at that one gathering around Cooyar; seems a bit stationery at the moment interesting to see what it does.
Still noisy around the skies; and on the ground; sirens & chainsaws go off every now & then. Guess some trees didn't take the extra hit today.
Happy Birthday DNO.!!!

WTG Elf; Qld weather should be called Pantene weather ... it won't happen overnight but it WILL happen!
Looks so funny outside; storms all around & straight down the middle is a gap for the sun to shine through the window and blind me as it sets.

Same same for Salisbury again...plenty of lightning and thunder, but only a few spits of rain. Got home late to the storm due to work, grabbed my tablet and snapped this pic standing in our yard.
