Ouch, BOM's forecast for Moranbah on Tuesday is 'very hot and mostly sunny, max 43 degrees'.
Haven't seen 'very hot' in our forecast before. So glad I work in air-conditioning.

BOM must be thinking the seabreeze will kick in earlier if they dowgraded temps here on the coast.

Also it was a warmer night in Rocky than on the coast ,24.5 deg we had 23.7 deg, usually the other way around.

41.6c in Norman Gardens yesterday, highest I've recorded on my station smile. I think we may hit 40 again today although 39 is forecast.

I would be nice to have a few cooler days and a spot of rain.
However in these pseudo ElNino-like conditions it's probably unlikely at lease until the next passage of the MJO through our longitudes in March if it happens.

29 deg now feels like 28 deg . Interesting it was 3 deg cooler today in Yeppoon but with the humidity you wouldn't think so .

Somewhere around midday to 1.30pm the breeze really started blowing down here so air con is off , windows open and fans still on.

That WA cyclone will make sure the hot weather remains.

Looks like we might get wet tonight. Dogs have gone off already. Frogs are singing.

Or maybe not. It seems to have reached the creek and stopped to die.

Oh well.

Dew point temp now 27 deg which makes it officially more muggier than it is in Darwin right now.

Seabreeze on the coast is not doing much today frown

Is that rain on the radar off the coast?

Disgusting weather. 29 deg now feels like 34 deg , muggy and no breeze at all.

Had to move my recliner seat right under the fan and bump it up to medium. Thank goodness weather isn't always like this...

Dog is happy with the desk fan pointed at her.
