Geez, there's some pretty decent development there now Kino. Slow moving too so some decent totals would be adding up.

The Bathurst AP webcam looks pretty juicy as well.

Storms have developed near Blaney on the Central Tablelands, in the Upper Hunter and on the Illawarra near Kiama.

There's nothing much here yet. Mild to warm (27C on the car thermometer), humid and windy (E-SE) after a sweaty night. Watery sunlight filtering through milky high cloud between the gaps in the cumulus, with a few patches of blue. Hopefully something develops later.

Rumbles from the west and marked wind increase. Mt Canobolas has disappeared under dark grey. Good signs.

Doesnt look as menacing now as it gets closer. Wouldnt be surprised if it did drop some hail earlier

Radar says its over us and a little cell forming for Bathurst too. Lets hope there is some rain in it for both or us. We need it big time. Rains just starting. Lets hope it pours...

Yay we've had heaps of rain and a storm too! Got rather torrential as well. I must say I was a bit doubtful of really big totals but so far it's been very good. 59mm at Moruya so the potential was there I guess as it was going to move up the coast.

Only the odd spit here - falling apart as it comes over the Bathurst bowl so far.

Still plenty of thunder around and the heavy rain is beginning again. Up to 10mm at the Airport now.

Pretty warm to the north of this change though, in particular Norah Head 28C in a SEer. Same with Obs Hill and Syd Ap. Is it sunny up there guys?

Good to hear about useful falls and storms.

Over here, it's still warm, windy with dark-bottomed cumulonstratus and streaky high cloud. The cicadas are going full on. Sydney seems to be under a gap in the cloud. Hopefully the extra heating will be good for later development.

Fairly mild and humid here, radar suggests its raining here but its telling lies, just good ole fashion sunshine here.

Sky has that heavy look about it on the western skyline.

Maybe where you are - coastal strip barely few drops. Here at Wollongong i'd guess 1mm tops.

It's a confusing radar at the moment.
There's rain/storms coming down from the north west from out Dubbo way.
There's rain/storms coming in from the west from the Central Tablelands.
There's showers developing on the Southern Highlands heading north east.
There's showers heading up from the south from the Illawarra.

I'm hoping it all converges on the Metro later, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

WR - it's still quite sunny up here and has been for the best part of the afternoon. Very humid as well, and quite windy.
