Would be nice if our Hunter friends got some rain, especially Stormy and Gringos who really need it. Meanwhile areas that have had useful rain lately are getting it again such as the Blue Mtns which are on 32mm now.

Is that rainband over the mountains shrinking?

Hoping that rain south of Sydney keeps marching northwards!!

A few droplets here in Penrith. Very depressing was looking foward to that "5-10mm 70%" chance all week.

It looked so dark and menacing over the blue moutains..and of course they got the rain.

Well hope it goes North to the Hunter which appears to be in a drought.

Nothing here yet but there seems to be showers maybe storms developing as well south of us moving inland a little and moving up from the SE with this SE flow, anything inland is moving north and staying on the ranges.

This is taking an eternity to reach the CBD. At least there’s a bit of colour on the radar

Jimi,This is taking an eternity to reach the CBD,well it will be an enernity before it gets to the Hunter ,hopefully something might get going before hand for us,it all looks to be coming in from the SE now. There is heaps of action out to sea,I would love to see that lot move on to the hunter coast, then move inland.

There's not to much going on out there atm. Pretty much no wind either.
Still hope for something soon for the garden but as you guy's mentioned it's taking an eternity to get here.

It was light to moderate rain for a while - enough to wet paths, give the lawns a drink. It's eased off now. I note that OH has received 1mm in about 20 minutes, probably about the same here.

6.7mm here, not much but better than nothing.

Bella hi impressive 33.4mm and even the desert Albion Park nearly 20mm. Massive band of orange and red coming so hopefully something better. Great to see the se’erly stream showers delivering for a change.

Ha ha yes dunno how it changes Bellambi to that but oh well. Massive band of torrential rain just missing me and heading nw. Escarpment will do very well I reckon up to 100mm in places.

Sitting in the car at the beach being buffeted by wind and rain since I couldn't sleep. Winds up to nearly 70km/h. Feels ALMOST like an ECL. Lovin it smile

Don't want to jinx it but gee that's a solid line heading up towards the Hunter region, maybe it will almost be a drought breaker.

Raining off and on since about 1am. Good to see band stretching east/west rather than totally coastal. if it holds that way and keeps going northward than more of the Hunter may get a drink.
