Looks like this weather will retract North with much drier conditions for the coming week.

Looks like quite a few more mm's to come over the next few hours. Barron is raging. Little Barron bridge in Mareeba went under last night.
This has been a huge event. The amount of flooding is crazy. Worst I have seen in my time in FNQ.

Goats are not impressed!!!

Solid rain now. Didn't bother emptying this morning but I could be looking at another 10 plus easily for the 24 hrs if this keeps up. And looking at the radar it should keep up for a while. I swear it feels like I am in Innisfail, not Cairns

NO we don't want a wet winter like that again, it was horrible trying to find grass.. I'll have a nice big wet with a couple of flood days, then a winter with lots of fishing weather please. lol

Wow some really nice falls around. So good to see Tinaroo getting a decent top up.

Nice flooding pics RD , got to love it for what it is and enjoy the flood days when you can.

Only 51mm up here this morning, frown

Cheers

The old highway bridge next to the roundabout on kamerunga road.
The lower freshwater bridge down at the cow paddocks is well under water.
